Tope Oshin (Journey To Self) who is one of those Nigerian filmmakers i always have on my radar has revealed the first poster for her upcoming psychological drama titled Ìrètí.
The film which stars Anne Njemanze follows a despondent middle aged woman who is trapped in a solitary jail cell and has given up on life and any meaning it holds following the death of her 8 year old son. She sits in the jail cell day after day, hovering between being deathly still and intense wailing and mourning until she has a very unusual encounter within her jail cell and self.
Not sure at this point what to expect from this movie when it gets released February 2016. So hopefully we get to see a trailer soon to give us an idea of how this movie will play out.
