40 yr-old Paul Walker, one of the main actors in Universal Pictures’ “Fast and the Furious” movie franchise, was one of two people who died yesterday (Saturday the 30th of November) after being involved in a car accident in California.
According to reports, the actor was the being driven in a Porsche by a friend, Roger Rodas, following an event for his charity ‘Reach Out Worldwide’ to benefit Philippines typhoon survivors when the accident occurred.
Not long after the News of his death first surfaced online, condolence messages started pouring in on Facebook and Twitter and it was only a matter of time until Universal released a statement confirming or dismiss the News.
Universal Pictures finally confirmed the death of the talented actor last night in a statement saying; “Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the ‘Fast and Furious’ films, and to countless fans. We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family.”
Paul Walker who appeared in a number of movies but is most popular for the movies Timeline, Running Scared, Takers and the Fast & Furious franchise was a great actor and will be deeply missed.
