First Look at Vin Diesel as ‘Riddick’ In Upcoming Chronicles of Riddick flick

We’ve followed Riddick since he first appeared in 2000′s Pitch Black and to its sequel Chronicles of Riddick in 2004. Now the third and probably final instalment to the story of Riddick (Vin Diesel) is in production and while the synopsis (inserted below) was released a while ago this is the first look at Vin Diesel as Riddick made available where we see Riddick in some sort of costume that brings to mind the type worn by Sam Worthington in the remake of Clash of The Titans.

Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.
