skyfall

Skyfall was released sometime in October last year in many parts of the world except in China where its release was delayed and now we know why- Chinese Censors.

According to reports a number of changes were implemented in the movie to avoid issues with China. A scene where a French hitman shoots a guard in the elevator lobby of a Shanghai skyscraper was cut while another scene (Casino) had it’s subtitles changed.

One major change which has also been reported is that Javier Bardem’s character (the villain of the movie) whom, from what the rest  of the world saw, was tortured by the Chinese government after working for MI6 won’t have that story this time around.

Now that’s something.
