The 2013 Zanzibar International Film Festival ended some days back with Kenya’s hit movie Nairobi Half Life yet again on the list of award winners- This time for Best East African film. Check out the complete list of winners from the event below.

VERONA AWARD (African film festival of Verona)
For his ability to show the process of creation and production of a film and to discover the mechanisms of making “cinema”, remaining in a constant balance between reality and fiction, and for the incredible choice to risk, filming himself next to the real “gangsters”, the characters of the work, and follow them in their daily lives.
