Texas Chainsaw 3D Knocks Down Django and The Hobbit To Become #1 On The Box Office Chart

Texas Chainsaw 3D knocked down reigning champs Django Unchained and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey to take the number one spot on the US Box Office chart in its first weekend earning $23 Million as against $20 Million and $17.5 Million earned by the other two movies respectively.

When compared to the previous top earning movies Texas Chainsaw 3D’s $23 Million isn’t much as Django Unchained which made $30.1 Million while The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey made  $84,6 Million in their opening weekends however thing is not many people one expected Texas Chainsaw to earn more than Django which is just in it’s second weekend.
